Quotes are subject to change based on carrier rate adjustments, fuel surcharges, residential delivery surcharges, and other carrier-imposed fees. A quote becomes a confirmed transaction only when you accept the shipment and the label is purchased.

4. Carrier Rates and Transit Times

Shipping rates and estimated transit times are set by the carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and others) and are subject to their terms and conditions. Ship Center Plus does not control carrier pricing or delivery schedules. Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless you specifically purchase a guaranteed service from the carrier.

Carrier rate adjustments may occur after a package is shipped — for example, if the actual weight or dimensions differ from what was declared, or if the carrier applies additional surcharges. The customer is responsible for any such adjustments.

5. Customer Responsibility for Package Contents and Customs Declarations

You are solely responsible for:

• Properly packaging your items to withstand transit, or requesting our professional packing services.
• Declaring the correct value, contents, and weight of your package.
• Completing accurate customs declarations for international shipments, including truthful descriptions and values of goods.
• Ensuring that your package contents comply with all applicable laws and carrier regulations.
• Any duties, taxes, or fees imposed by customs authorities in the destination country.

Ship Center Plus is not liable for packages delayed, seized, or returned by customs due to inaccurate or incomplete declarations.

6. Prohibited Items

The following items are prohibited from shipment through Ship Center Plus. This list is not exhaustive and may be updated at any time:

• Hazardous materials, including flammable, explosive, corrosive, or radioactive substances.
• Firearms, ammunition, and weapons.
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances, and drug paraphernalia.

Ship Center Plus reserves the right to refuse any package that we believe contains prohibited items. We are not liable for items that are later determined to be prohibited and are seized or returned by the carrier or authorities.

7. International Shipments

For international shipments, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate customs declarations, including truthful descriptions and declared values.
• Ensuring that the contents are legal to import into the destination country.
• Paying any duties, taxes, customs fees, or brokerage charges assessed by the destination country.
• Understanding that transit times for international shipments may vary significantly due to customs processing.

Ship Center Plus can assist with customs documentation but is not responsible for delays, seizures, or additional charges imposed by foreign customs authorities. Any specific country restrictions or embargoes set by the U.S. government or the destination country apply.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ship Center Plus shall not be liable for:

• Loss, damage, or delay of packages once they are accepted by the carrier, except as provided by the carrier's own terms.
• Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our services.
• Errors or omissions in shipping information provided by the customer.
• Carrier rate adjustments, surcharges, or fees applied after shipment.
• Delays caused by weather, customs, carrier mechanical failures, or other events beyond our control.

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid to Ship Center Plus for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim. For shipping claims related to lost or damaged packages, the carrier's declared value coverage and claims process apply.

9. Third-Party Carrier Responsibility

Ship Center Plus acts as an authorized shipping outlet for UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS, and other carriers. Once a package is accepted by the carrier, the carrier is responsible for its transport, tracking, and delivery. Any claims for lost, damaged, or delayed packages must be filed directly with the carrier according to their claims process. Ship Center Plus will assist customers in filing claims where possible but is not the claimant or the party responsible for carrier decisions.
